APSC Meeting Arrangements

Meetings are held six times a year in a Singapore hotel on the second Friday of every even month (except where holidays conflict, in which case it will usually be moved to the first Friday). The nominated contact representatives for each member company will be notified of each meeting by the APSC Chairperson or APSC Secretary about 2 weeks prior to that meeting (the APSC currently uses the secretarial services of SEAPEX). All Member companies will be required to email PDF copies of their Scout Report to the APSC Secretary one week prior to the meeting, regardless of whether they plan to attend or not. Two days prior to the meeting, all company reports will be available for download by members.

Meetings start at 11.00 a.m. and include lunch; they are an exchange of reports to encourage interaction and business activities. In order to distribute and collate the various activity reports, members are requested to arrive prior to 10.30 a.m. in order that the meeting can start promptly.

Members are expected to send one attendee to each APSC meeting but may bring additional attendees. More than two attendees can only be permitted with the permission of the host and the APSC Chairperson. The APSC Secretariat will register the members’ attendees upon their arrival at the meeting and check on the lunch attendance numbers.

Reports should be submitted by member companies whether or not they will be attending the meeting, Members are reminded of the APSC attendance requirements: Member companies will be expected to attend at least 3 meetings per year in person. APSC will suspend access to the website portal if scout reports are not submitted in two consecutive meetings.
